The Quilter's General Store has been meeting the needs of quilters since November of 2003.  It is owned by Sharon Blom and has a staff of five ladies who love quilting.  We stock approx. 1000 bolts of fabric, including one wall of over 150 flannels.  While our primary fabric selections are traditonal we have sections devoted to brights/whimsical, reproductions from the 1800's, batiks, homespuns, wide backings and upnorth designs.  We have the largest collection of Fat Quarters in northern Michigan.  The store aims to inspire quilters and non-quilters alike with changing displays and walls full of quilts.  Our book racks also hold magazines from New Zealand and other countries.  There is a classroom in the back and we offer many opportunities for you to utilize our large table space for your personal use, in a class, or as a member of one of our clubs.
