Karlene Crawford sent us these two pictures of her granddaughter’s (Ashton Coonrod) memory quilt. It was a “family affair” as Karlene, Anita Inman (grandma #2), and Theresa Coonrod (step-mom) all participated in its creation. The pattern used was “Turning Twenty Around the Block” and was quilted by Lorie Lewis. The top fabrics are cotton while the backing is flannel. Choosing the right fabrics can transform a simple pattern into a stunning beauty!! Note the matching pillowcase!
